About SSE

SSE's website today describes an electricity company, with wind farms, hydro power, power networks and energy services for businesses, and broadband is not among the businesses it lists. Its energy services arm, which included broadband, was sold to OVO Energy in January 2020. OVO later sold the broadband customers to TalkTalk, with the move starting in 2022. A former SSE broadband line will have moved to TalkTalk unless the customer switched earlier.
