    Questions about the puzzle

    How do I select a word?

    Drag from the first letter to the last, or tap the first letter and then tap the last one. On a keyboard, use the arrow keys to move around the grid, press Enter on the first letter and Enter again on the last. Escape cancels a selection.

    What do the difficulty levels change?

    Easy is an 11 by 11 grid with words running across and down only. Medium is 13 by 13 and adds diagonals. Hard is 15 by 15, adds diagonals and lets words run backwards in any direction.

    What is the daily puzzle?

    Tick the daily puzzle box and everyone playing that theme and difficulty gets exactly the same grid for the whole day, so you can compare times with a friend. Untick it for a fresh random grid every time.

    Do the words mean anything?

    Every one of the 96 terms is real broadband vocabulary, and finding a word reveals a plain-English definition next to it. If you want the longer version, our broadband guides cover the same ground in more depth.
