About SSE Broadband

SSE Broadband was a home broadband and phone service started by SSE around 2008. When SSE sold its energy services arm to OVO Energy in 2020, the broadband business went with it. In August 2022 OVO sold the broadband customers to TalkTalk, and the move was complete by April 2023. The brand is no longer active, so a former customer's line is now run by TalkTalk unless they have since switched.
