Liverpool full fibre network built only for apartment blocks, letting residents with its wall socket switch on by scanning a QR code.
About Mersey Fibre
Mersey Fibre only connects apartment buildings, and says so plainly on its site. It wires blocks in Liverpool and the Wirral before people move in, so a resident who finds a Mersey Fibre socket on the wall can switch on by scanning a QR code, with no engineer visit and no drilling.
The company says its network carries symmetric 10Gbps speeds, meaning uploads match downloads, and it advertises guaranteed speeds, clear pricing and no mid-contract price rises. It works directly with landlords and developers to get buildings pre-enabled, and says its headquarters are in Sandhills, Liverpool.
Mersey Fibre was incorporated in March 2024. It does not serve houses, so the first step is to look for its socket or check whether your building is on its list.
