Registered as CityFibre Limited (Companies House 09759465) at 15 Bedford Street, London WC2E 9HE and founded in 2011 by Greg Mesch with current CEO Simon Holden, CityFibre is owned by funds managed by Antin Infrastructure Partners, Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Mubadala Investment Company, Interogo Holding, Newlight Partners and PATRIZIA's European Infrastructure Fund II. The network passes over 4.7 million premises with plans for 8 million+ (a third of the UK), serving 730,000+ live customers across 35+ ISP partners including Sky, Vodafone, TalkTalk, Zen, Three, YouFibre, Giganet and toob, supported by a £2.3bn financing round in July 2025 plus the March 2025 acquisition of Connexin. CityFibre launched its 8.5Gbps wholesale product in 2026 and is the first UK challenger network with SBTi-accredited carbon targets.
