Central London business telecoms firm that says it has served companies since 1988, running its own fibre core across four London sites.
About Spitfire
From its central London offices, Spitfire has sold business internet and telephone services for more than 30 years, and its homepage dates the work back to 1988. It leads with engineering, saying its account managers and support staff all receive technical training, including Cisco qualifications.
Its core network is a 100Gbps fibre ring joining four sites, at Docklands North, Docklands South, The Oval and Park Royal, so traffic has another path if one link fails. Spitfire says it also uses network equipment from two different makers, to protect against problems with any one supplier.
Connections range from full fibre and SOGEA broadband (broadband without a phone line) to dedicated fibre Ethernet and mobile backup circuits, alongside VoIP and SIP phone services and IoT SIMs. It also helps firms prepare for the switch-off of the old analogue phone network.
