NYnet
North Yorkshire full fibre network that says it is owned by the public sector, serving businesses, schools and public bodies from Harrogate.
About NYnet
NYnet says it is owned by and works for the public sector, and it runs its own full fibre network across North Yorkshire, designed, delivered and managed in-house. The Harrogate-based operator has been working on connectivity in the county since 2007.
Its customers are businesses, schools, colleges, public bodies and communities in North Yorkshire and beyond. Schools can get a range of digital services, from connectivity to vape sensors, and businesses get full fibre with premium support. The company says its network exists to improve opportunities in education, healthcare and the local economy.
NYnet is a member of ISPA, the trade body for UK internet providers. A business in North Yorkshire can ask whether its fibre already passes the premises.
