Cromarty Firth Wireless
CROMARTY FIRTH WIRELESS NETWORKS LTD · Companies House SC514076
Highland wireless broadband that began as one man's hobby and now runs point to point radio links from Ross-shire, up to 50Mbps.
About Cromarty Firth Wireless
What began as a hobby for one Highland resident, Mike, who wanted fast broadband in the rural Highlands, turned into Cromarty Firth Wireless Networks once word spread and demand became clear. That is the company's own account of how it started.
It uses wireless point to point technology, sending broadband by radio between fixed antennas, and says this lets it deliver where others cannot. Cromarty Firth Wireless advertises speeds of up to 50Mbps. The company, Cromarty Firth Wireless Networks Ltd, was incorporated in August 2015 and is registered at Balblair in Ross-shire. For Highland homes stuck with a slow line, it is worth asking whether its signal reaches you.
