Tesco Broadband was a UK home broadband and fixed line phone service launched in August 2004 by Tesco plc, delivered over BT's ADSL network. In January 2015, Tesco sold the broadband and home phone business to TalkTalk Telecom Group for approximately £5 million. All 75,000 broadband customers and 20,000 voice customers were migrated to TalkTalk by 2016, and Tesco exited the fixed broadband market to focus on Tesco Mobile. The Tesco Broadband brand is defunct, though Tesco Mobile continues to operate as a consumer MVNO on the O2 network.
