Independent profile snapshot

This extended snapshot summarises how the provider presents itself in the UK market. It supplements the dataset-led summary above.

Rebel Internet is a challenger UK home broadband provider launched in 2023 by former BT executives Tucker George (CEO) and David Groth (COO), positioned as an alternative to "Big Broadband" with a pledge of zero contracts, fair pricing and premium 24/7 UK-based customer service. Broadband is delivered over the Openreach network for FTTC and FTTP (covering more than 23 million homes, expected to reach 30 million by 2030) with additional packages on CityFibre. Speed tiers include Rebel 115, Rebel 330 and Rebel 1000 on Openreach FTTP, plus Rebel 550 and Rebel 1Gb on CityFibre, with broadband starting at £35 per month. Uniquely, Rebel also offers the UK's first dedicated "Wi-Fi as a Service" subscription from £15 per month using Plume SuperPods mesh hardware for households stuck in existing broadband contracts. The provider holds a 4.7 Trustpilot rating and previously traded as Rebel Fibre from 2021 before its 2023 relaunch under the Rebel Internet brand.
