About Quickline
Quickline focuses on rural Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, including East Yorkshire, and runs its own network from a registered office in Willerby, near Hull. Where its full fibre has arrived, fibre runs right to your door. Where it has not arrived yet, Quickline uses fixed wireless, a radio link from a mast to a receiver on your home.
It holds government Project Gigabit contracts to build in hard-to-reach places, including a May 2026 contract covering 28,952 premises in Yorkshire. Quickline says it has delivered internet to over 300,000 homes and businesses, that its prices do not rise mid-contract, and that you can leave without penalty if it does not deliver the service it promises. It also appears on Ofcom's list of providers with a social tariff.
Qcl Holdings Limited controls the company, which is backed by Northleaf Capital Partners. Reports in May 2026 said Northleaf was in talks to buy KCOM in Hull, and no deal had been confirmed.
