About Fastnet

Back in 1995, Fastnet says, its first 100 customers shared just 128Kbps of bandwidth on its dial-up network. Today it calls itself an independent business ISP, running its own network with data centres in Brighton and London.

It says it is not locked into one fibre carrier, so it can choose whichever suits each business, and it offers support direct from its engineers. The range covers business broadband, 5G mobile connectivity, Ethernet leased lines, private networks linking several sites, web and cloud hosting, server colocation, network security and backup.

Fastnet says it has worked with legal, financial and tech firms and has even hosted a digital music festival. It sells to businesses, so households will need to look elsewhere.
