Broadband for Surrey Hills (B4SH) is a not-for-profit community benefit society delivering hyperfast full fibre broadband to rural Surrey communities. Modelled on B4RN and registered with the FCA as a registered society (number 7656), B4SH offers symmetric gigabit speeds (greater than 920 Mbps) with its network now extending over 250km across the Surrey Hills, including Albury, Shamley Green, Winterfold, Peaslake, Wonersh and surrounding villages. The project is volunteer-driven, with landowners providing free wayleaves, and reinvests any surplus into expanding coverage. B4SH has over 600 live connections including 100+ businesses and has been publicly endorsed by former Chancellor Jeremy Hunt.
